Masters level study

Postgraduate and doctoral level study for Healthcare Professionals

These programmes cater for a variety of health professionals within the NHS and have been developed in partnership with the NHS. They are designed to be studied part-time alongside your role as a health professional.

The PG Certificate in Neurophysiology is a post-graduate training programme for the NHS Accredited Specialist Scientific Practice Programme (ASSP).  This provides the neurophysiology workforce with the ability to meet specific workforce needs in nerve conduction and EMG as well as paediatric and intensive care EEG. The modules are available by distance or blended learning, allowing you flexibility in the way that you study.

Study flexibly whilst you work with our distance learning programmes in Optometry.  Let us help you to enhance your knowledge and critical awareness of current issues, and to be at the forefront of your academic discipline.
Aston School of Pharmacy has a long established record of producing high-quality pharmacy graduates and its predecessor institutions can trace their roots back to 1895. Aston has a history of innovation in pharmacy education – for example, the first UK Masters programme for hospital pharmacy, the first Boots teacher practitioner in the UK and the first hospital placement scheme for pharmacy undergraduates. We offer a range of both campus-based and distance learning programmes to enhance your professional practice, from short courses in independent prescribing, right up to our professional doctorate. For pharmacy graduates who gained their degree outside the UK, we also offer our OSPAP conversion programmes, to enable you to practice in the UK.
