Tried, tested and triple accredited. We are one of just 1% of business schools in the world to hold AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditation.
At Aston University we recognise that our postgraduate students have a lot of skills and abilities that are of great value to local businesses. We also recognise that our postgraduate students need to get real experience of work based projects. So, we have put together a number of opportunities for you to ‘do business’ as well as learning about it in your degree studies.
At Aston University we believe that our students deserve the very best opportunities to experience work – and these are some of the opportunities that would be available to you if you come and join us:
In 2018/19 we'll be starting a business clinic to give advice to local small and medium sized businesses about all aspects of business activities. This business clinic will be staffed by our postgraduate student volunteers. If you decide to take part in this initiative you will have the opportunity to meet with business contacts who come to the business clinic for advice, and, under the guidance of one of our academic members of staff, provide that advice.
In 2018/19 we will be starting this initiative, so initially we will be seeking students to get involved in setting this up. If you come to Aston this could be you working in the clinic!
The Prince's Trust
The Prince's Trust is a great charity that works with young people helping them to get into jobs, education and training. One of the many things that they do is to support young people who are setting up their own business.
Aston University is starting to work with The Prince's Trust to help in giving advice to young people who are trying to make their business grow and be successful. We are looking for our postgraduate students to work alongside our academic staff who are volunteering their time to work with this charity. This is of real benefit to the community, and also an excellent opportunity for our postgraduate students to get involved, and understand the different components of setting up a business.
