During Term 3, and as part of the Professional Development Programme, students will have the opportunity of undertaking work-based or study abroad placements away from Aston University Campus. This could range from a four-week summer school at a partner institution overseas, to an internships of up to 6 months which may entail moving to another city or country.

Please note that if you are staying in University Residences with Aston Student Village, you will not be released from your accommodation contract until it runs its course at the end of 51 weeks. If a study or work placement is something you may wish to undertake as part of your course, you might therefore want to consider prioritising accommodation in the private sector which would offer more flexibility.  Information and advice on renting in the private sector can be found on the following pagehttp://www.aston.ac.uk/current-students/hub/housing-advice/finding-somewhere-to-live/

Students attending Aston on a Tier 4 visa should pay particular attention to the section on Landlord checks.
