Accommodation

During Term 3, and as part of the Professional Development Programme, students will have the opportunity of undertaking work-based or study abroad placements away from Aston University Campus. This could range from a four-week summer school at a partner institution overseas, to an internship of up to 6 months which may entail moving to another city or country.

Please note that if you are staying in University Residences with Aston Student Village, you will not be released from your accommodation contract until it runs its course at the end of 51 weeks.

It is your responsibility to organise your accommodation accordingly for the 12 month or 18 month route. If you are considering the 18 month route, you may want to consider accommodation in the private sector which would offer more flexibility. Find out more information about accommodation.

Students attending Aston on a Tier 4 visa should pay particular attention to the section on Landlord checks.
