Careers Service

Our outstanding record for graduate employment is in part down to our well-equipped Careers Service and team of highly experienced careers staff who support our students during and after their studies at Aston University

The Times UK Graduate Careers Survey 2007 found that 93% of Aston finalists used the Careers Service, the highest in the survey.  The Association of Graduate Recruiters/Barkers National Graduate Media Audit 2006 also voted our Careers Service as one of the top ten in UK Higher Education institutions.

Aston's Careers Service offers students and graduates one-on-one interviews with a careers advisor, group sessions, online services and a well-equipped information room. It works closely with Schools of Study, providing career management skills tailored to individual courses.

The Careers Service helps bring students and employers together by advertising vacancies and arranging on-campus employer presentations, interviews, recruitment fairs and special interest events. The Careers Service has extensive links with national and international graduate employers as well as smaller and local employers.

When you join Aston, you'll be given an introductory tour of the Careers Service, to help you make the most of the resources and expertise on offer.
