I completed my Bachelor of Commerce at RMIT University, Vietnam in 2012. I joined Risk and Compliance Department of VinaCapital Corporate Finance, Vietnam as an intern for 5 months. I then joined PwC Vietnam as a Consultant in International Assignment Services team from April to August 2012 and as an Associate (subsequently, Senior Associate) in Assurance team from 2012 to 2014. I decided to pursue the masters degree to gain more knowledge in investment and finance areas, enhance overseas study experience and develop additional skills and competency to succeed in my chosen career.

Aston University and Aston Business School have been consistently ranked as one of the top universities in UK for studying business, where the well-designed postgraduate program would help me to accumulate relevant academic and practical knowledge as well as enhance essential competencies to develop my career. In addition, with well-structured, high quality world-class programmes, the degree at Aston is widely recognised not only in the UK but also internationally.

Aston is also well-known for equipping students with cutting edge facilities, a friendly studying environment and great support extended to international students, which are imperative factors to help me nurture my capability in study and various student activities.

I am very impressed by the friendly, international environment at Aston. The availability of a wide range of student activities and career advice as well as warm support from the university staff. I am very impressed by the friendly, international environment at Aston. The availability of a wide range of student activities and career advice as well as warm support from the university staff.

I look forward to applying the academic learning in the degree in the practical situations to build insightful analysis for investment decisions or provide pragmatic advice for improvements in processes, including finance and operations, risk management and internal controls.

After 4 to 5 years of consolidating my knowledge base and accumulating experience, I hope to become a university lecturer. I will be committed to sharing my knowledge and experience, providing instructions and guidance to students to help them in preparation for their future career and who would, in turn, have an impact on the economic development of Vietnam.
