Independent visits

In addition to our general Open Days, you are welcome to visit Aston University at other times.

Please note: if you apply to Aston and made a conditional/unconditional offer, you will be invited to a subject-specific Applicant Visit Day between late November and March.

Looking around the campus independently

Self-guided campus and city tour leaflets enable visitors to look around the campus independently.

Visitors undertaking the self-guided tour will not normally be able to view inside of our student accommodation. However, lots of information, including photos and video footage of the accommodation is available on our Accommodation pages. All our accommodation is on campus, 3,000 en suite rooms. As you walk around you will gain a feel for the high quality and convenience of our student residences.

The Schools & Colleges Liaison team can provide the tour leaflet, prospectuses, course brochures and offer general advice about the University. They are are located on the Floor 2 of the South Wing - Main building reception will be able to direct you.

When to visit

It is usually best to visit us during office hours on a weekday. The University campus is open at weekends/evenings, but many buildings and facilities are only accessible to our students and staff at these times via swipe card

If you need any additional information from the Schools & Colleges Liaison team regarding visiting the University, please contact Gill Clark on g.clark@aston.ac.uk or 0121 204 4772.

Weekend/evening pay and display parking is normally available on campus in car park 12 or car park 6, off Jennens Road/Woodcock Street.
