Independent visits and guided campus tours

In addition to our general Open Days, you are welcome to visit Aston University at other times.

Please note: if you apply to Aston and made a conditional/unconditional offer, you will be invited to a subject-specific Applicant Visit Day between late November and March.

Looking around the campus independently
We offer self-guided campus and city tour leaflets to enable visitors to look around the campus independently.  The Schools and Colleges Liaison Office at Aston can provide the tour leaflet, prospectuses, course brochures and offer general advice about the University.

Visitors undertaking the self-guided tour will not normally be able to view inside of our student accommodation. However, lots of information, including photos and video footage of the accommodation is available on our Accommodation pages. All our accommodation is on campus, 3,000 en suite rooms. As you walk around you will gain a feel for the high quality and convenience of our student residences.

The Schools & Colleges Liaison team are are located on the Floor 2 of the South Wing. Our reception staff in the Main Building will be happy to show you the way or may be able to provide you with the information you need.

If you would like to download a copy of the self-guided tour leaflet yourself, please click the link opposite.

It is usually best to visit us during office hours on a weekday. The University campus is open at weekends/evenings, but many buildings and facilities are only accessible to our students and staff at these times via swipe card

If you need any additional information from the Schools & Colleges Liaison team regarding visiting the University, please contact Gill Clark on g.clark@aston.ac.uk or 0121 204 4772.

Guided Campus Tours
At key times of the year, in addition to our Open Days we do offer guided campus tours. These are given by current Aston students. You will have the opportunity to see our accommodation and sporting, library and social facilities, followed by a chance to meet Schools and Colleges Liaison/Admissions staff who will answer any general queries that you may have.

Please note that these tours do not include visiting academic departments, although we can arrange an informal discussion with Admissions Tutors about general admissions and course queries.

Details of our next campus tours for undergraduate entry will be posted here when available.
