BSEEN Exhibition and Networking event success 

BSEEN Exhibition Cosesano

The BSEEN Exhibition and Networking event took place at iCentrum, Innovation Birmingham Campus on Thursday 9th November. There were over 200 attendees from local businesses, dignitaries from partner universities, academic staff, as well as BSEEN entrepreneurs and alumni. The aim of the event was to showcase the wide range of new business start-ups currently on the BSEEN programme. The event was an opportunity for the business community in Birmingham to meet the entrepreneurs.BSEEN, part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, is a start-up project for university students and graduates in the Birmingham and Solihull LEP region who want to start up their own business.

Paula Whitehouse, Aston Business School’s Associate Dean for Enterprise said ‘It`s fantastic to see so much support for our student and graduate business in the room. BSEEN provides a great platform for students and recent graduates with a passion for business and determination to make the dream of running their own business a reality.’ 

BSEEN is a collaborative initiative between Aston University, Birmingham City University, University College Birmingham and Newman University. It is available to students from these universities and graduates within the last five years from any university living in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP area. BSEEN provides intensive business start-up training, a business grant, professional mentor support and a dedicated workspace.
