Congratulations to Michael Henry of the Economics and Strategy Group in Aston Business School who has been awarded the ‘Aston Excellence Award for Outstanding Early Career Researcher of the Year’.  Nominees for this award have to be within 2 years of the start of their academic career as a full-time lecturer, and award winners have to be able to demonstrate how they have made, within this period, an outstanding start to their research career and thereby contributed to the reputation of the University with regard to their field of research.

Aston Excellence Awards have been established to recognise outstanding contribution towards the achievement of Aston’s mission to develop Centres of Excellence in Learning and Teaching, Research and Community Engagement, in an environment that values and respects the diversity of the Aston community.

The Awards recognise the contribution of individuals, and for some Awards team contributions, and for each Award there is an established process for nomination.
