HESA Staff Information


General Information 

HESA is the Higher Education Statistical Agency, they collect and publish detailed information about HE institutes in the UK. Human Resources are responsible for collating annonymised information about their employees and sending this to HESA on a yearly basis. 

What you need to do 

In order for us to submit accurate information to HESA, we need you to keep your records up to date. You need to update your HESA information through the Aston Staff Portal, following this guidance. We will also prompt you occasionally to review this information and ensure it is still correct.
