Performance Development Review (PDR)



The Performance Development and Reward Scheme is designed to support, retain and develop existing staff and attract new staff to Aston.

Performance Development Review (PDR) meetings are an important component of the scheme as they are an opportunity to discuss an individual’s performance, to chart progress, to identify achievements, and to consider the individual’s contribution to Citizenship.


Training for the PDR Scheme


For staff who have previously conducted a PDR and are familiar with the process, a short online refresher presentation on completing the PDR paperwork is available to view. You will need Flash installed to view it.

For staff who are new to the scheme, a half day training session on 'Performance Development Review Skills' is available. To book this session, please click visit Aston Staff Portal and search the 'Book a Course' tab in the employee dashboard.
