How to Request Annual Leave - Employees with a defined working pattern

This video will show you how to request annual leave using Portal if you are a member of staff with a defined working pattern.

This video will show you how to request annual leave using Portal if you are a member of staff with a defined working pattern.  




How to Amend Annual leave

This video will show you how to amend an annual leave request using Portal. You can only amend a request if it has not already been approved by your manager.





How to Cancel Annual Leave

This video will show you how to cancel an annual leave request using Portal. You can only cancel a request if it is the future. If you do need to cancel annual leave that you booked in the past but did not take, your manager will need to do this on your behalf.  



How to Approve Annual Leave (Managers)

This video will show managers how to approve their employees’ annual leave requests using Portal.






Viewing and Editing Annual Leave (Managers)

This video will show managers how to view when their employees are taking annual leave, and how much leave they have remaining. It will also show them how to amend leave on behalf of their employees.

Aston Staff Portal enables managers to record sickness absence for their staff directly into the HR and Payroll system.

The booking of Staff & Graduate Development courses is now done through the Aston Staff Portal (from July 2015). 


The links to the right will help you find and book training, either for yourself or employees you manage.

Aston Staff Portal should be used to submit any claims for staff expenses (from 4th April 2016).
