Internal hospitality embraces new era

Catering at Aston is delighted to announce the re-launch of their internal hospitality service following the appointment of Laura Batchelor, Catering’s new Hospitality Manager and Danielle Atterbury, Catering Administrator.

To ensure Catering continue to meet your needs, Laura and Danielle will provide support and assistance for all Aston University staff who have responsibility for booking internal hospitality. The internal hospitality website has also been revamped with refreshed menus and a new “How to order” guide with step by step instructions for ordering internal hospitality whether it’s a simple tea and coffee order or something bespoke for a VIP special occasion.

The hospitality menus have also been re-launched in an easy to use format which allows users to select even more dishes offering greater choice, flexibility and quality.

After a number of consultation groups with staff, the internal hospitality service was identified as an area which needed further development to ensure catering could continue to meet the needs of the Aston community.

Catering at Aston is committed to meeting the needs of Aston staff and the development within internal hospitality aims to build a strong partnership based on understanding and creativity to provide a service which exceeds expectation.

Catering would like to extend their thanks to all staff with responsibility for booking internal hospitality for their time and feedback.

As part of your service initiatives, may I recommend looking at the ordering process through Agresso to see where it can be made more intuitive to the average end user (e.g., matching selection to that available on the web)Jennifer Mills18/02/2010 11:36:01
