There’s a brand new staff development course entitled “e-assessment and e-submission effective practice”.
This hands-on workshop is aimed at teaching staff who want to understand about the scope and range of e-assessments tools available to them. The two hour interactive session will also include underpinning theory on e-assessment methods to help understand how alternative (computer aided) assessment methods can enhance and enrich the learning experience. Together with this topic we will cover current Aston University methods to allow students to submit assessed work electronically, allowing electronic marking and feedback.
Hands on aspects of the session will cover the various options (including Turnitin) available in our Blackboard learning platform. Alternative e-assessment options available to staff such as PebblePad (e-portfolio), will also be explained.
