International Student Barometer findings

The International Office and Market Research Office have been working with International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate) over the last 5 years on the International Student Barometer (ISB). This is a survey of non-UK international students carried out during Term 1. It provides the University with an understanding of the motivations, expectations and experiences of international students studying at the University and allows us to benchmark our performance against other institutions.

The Autumn wave of this survey which the University takes part in specifically looks at students’ experience towards the beginning of the academic year and focuses on the areas of Arrival, Learning, Living and Support.

The information is now available on the intranet:

(Please note that the information contained in these reports are for internal use only and must not be shared externally.)

A presentation of these latest findings will take place on Monday 9 May. An email has been sent out to a number of staff with further information on this meeting.
