The University is taking part in a free exhibition this Thursday and all staff are invited to attend where you can find out about the region’s green revolution. The Vice-Chancellor is a key speaker at the event and the University willl have an exhibition stand. 

Discover how to make simple positive changes to your lifestyle and workplace through our showcase of low cost, high impact projects and from across the West Midlands. A wide range of organisations will be there to help you on your journey.

Join HRH The Prince of Wales in visiting the Smarter Working and Living Exhibition which will feature a display of `green vehicles’, including a Formula 3 bio-fuel car and a Modec electric van from Coventry. The exhibition will also include over 30 stands from businesses and community organisations that are helping people live and work more sustainably.

Exhibitors include:

  • Aston University

  • Birmingham’s award-winning Faith and Climate change project

  • Northfield Eco Centre

  • Birmingham City University

Students from Birmingham Metropolitan College will also stage a fashion show and perform a short piece, both with a recycling theme.
