As you can see from these dramatic pictures work is well underway on the Woodcock Sports Centre refurbishment!

When complete the New Woodcock Sports Centre will include:

  • A significant improvement and extension to the gym increasing the floor space by over a third
  • A new, reconfigured interior layout offering more space for sports and activities and include a viewing area for the sports hall, a studio cycling suite and a gym that will host women only sessions
  • The creation of new male and female changing facilities for the swimming pool - although the cubicles will remain as these are a historical feature of this listed building
