Sport Aston require a Marketing Admin Assistant to provide support to the Sport Marketing and Development Officer. Initially this is a short term position but with the possibility for it to be extended for the right candidate.

 

Based at the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre in Birmingham City Centre you will be working in a small and friendly team. There will be routine tasks to carry out but there will also be some creative opportunities. We are seeking a team player who is flexible in their outlook to work. You must be analytical in your approach to work with sound IT skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and updating our CRM system, championing accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Performing a range of data analysis and converting the data into a presentable format for the management team.
  • Direct marketing communication with members using Mailchimp.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and comments through, email, social media and over the phone.
  • Monitoring and analysing promotions and offers.
  • Contacting staff, arranging shifts and recording hours worked.
  • Dealing with large booking enquiries including, liaising with appropriate staff and adding the booking to the system.
  • To assist with the distribution of marketing material.
  • To undertake other routine clerical/administrative tasks as required and appropriate to the role.

 

Person Specification:

  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Computer literate using; Word, Excel Outlook, Google Analytics
  • Social media experience using; Twitter, Facebook & Instagram
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own
  • A passion to work within the Sport and Leisure industry

 

Details:

  • Up to 15 hours per week
  • £9.36 per hour
  • Flexible working hours between 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Starting asap for an initial 12 week period
