Welcome to Registry

Registry is the central focus for academic administration in the University, and includes the following teams:

  • Admissions (includes central enquiries/admissions and enrolment)
  • Examinations (scheduling, management of examination rooms, locations, invigilators)
  • The Graduate School (supporting the Graduate School Management Committee and information for research students)
  • Planning and Management Information (Information for external and internal stakeholders)
  • Student Records (Management of the overall student record, Scholarships management and liaison with the Student Finance organisations)

  • Corporate Student Systems (Development and management of SITS and My Aston Portal)

Registry staff play an important role in the development, interpretation and application of regulations and other rules, procedures and guidelines. These help students and staff to know what is expected of them, and to ensure consistent and fair treatment for all.
