The Fresh Perspectives series will open up a diverse range of tools and insights for those looking to enhance their business and performance at work. The university’s team of academic experts have prepared events covering all areas of business – from advice on nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset to tips on making social media work for your company.
The breakfast events are also an excellent opportunity to network with other businesses, and discover more about Aston Business School and the opportunities it can offer, including student placements, bespoke training and collaborative research.
The first event, to take place on Thursday 20th October and led by Andrew Marcinko of the Aston Behavioural Insights Group, will explore some of the most stressful and high-pressure jobs in the world in order to examine diversity in the work place, and how leaders can adapt and refocus in a working environment that is constantly changing. A short video featuring Andrew outlining what the session will offer is available on YouTube.
Terry Hodgetts, Director of Aston’s Centre for Executive Development, said: “In an uncertain business environment, it is ever more important that companies craft effective strategies, leverage the talents of all of their people, and connect meaningfully with their customers. Fresh Perspectives will share some of Aston’s latest research in these and other areas, providing immediately practical tools and techniques for all kinds of businesses.”
