  • Aston makes UK top 15 for business and economics in Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
  • World-class ranking based on quality of degree programmes, academics prestige, research excellence and teaching environments.

There are 13,700 business schools in the world, and Aston has been ranked in the top 100 in the globally renowned Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The analysis for this academic year concluded that Aston is 94th best in the world for business and economics and in the UK top 15.

The rankings judge world class universities based on 13 separate performance indicators assessing not only the quality of specific degree programmes, but an institution’s academic prestige, research excellence and teaching environments.

Aston has recently excelled in a number of rankings tables. Aston Business School’s International Business MSc was recently ranked in the global top 100 by the Financial Times, and the University recently made the UK top 10 for attracting top international talent in the THE World University Rankings.

89 per cent of Aston students managed to secure a graduate job within six months of leaving university, partly thanks to the range of paid professional placements offered in the UK and abroad.

The THE World University Rankings are the only global performance tables that judges universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. They use 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments.
