Typhoon in the Philippines

Aston campus

Aston University would like to express our deepest sympathy to those affected by Typhoon Haiyan that struck the Philippines last week. Our thoughts are with Aston students, alumni and members of staff from the affected countries.

Aston University has a number of Filipino students enrolled on our degree programmes.  We appreciate how distressing news of the disaster must be.  We are in contact with all our students to ensure that they are safe and supported during this difficult time.

Hub Counselling Services and the University’s Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Services are available to assist anyone affected by the disaster.  We would encourage you to make use of their services if you require support.

Any nationals from the affected countries wishing to call home can do so free of charge by visiting the Hub which is situated on the Ground Floor the Main Building, just off the Upper Foyer.  Opening times are 9:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
