Aston Business School is among the most popular institutions of its kind in the UK, according to a league table published today by a specialist rating agency.

This ranking, featured in the '4 Palms' category of Eduniversal’s UK Business School Ranking 2010, adds further value to Aston’s existing world-class status.

From December 2009 to March 2010, each Dean or Director of the 1,000 best academic institutions was asked to participate in the survey - The 2010 Deans’ Vote, concerning the Business Schools of the Eduniversal Official Selection in 153 countries. Country by country, Deans were asked a simple question: “Which business school(s) would you recommend to anyone wishing to study in this country?”
The results of the annual survey conducted with 1,000 Deans of the Business Schools from Eduniversal Official Selection were disclosed in Prague last month at the 3rd Eduniversal World Convention.

Eduniversal was established in 2008 to provide students, professionals and academics with a universal perspective on higher education. It allows prospective students and their parents to choose the best institution giving their career and their means, wherever they live, and wherever they’d wish to go.

Earlier this year, Aston Business School’s flagship full-time MBA programme secured a position in the top 100 business schools in the world. This ranking, featured in The Economist Which MBA 2010 league table, ranked Aston at number 74.

Separately, also this year, the Financial Times’ latest Masters in Management survey placed Aston Business School’s MSc in International Business in fifth place in the UK and 39th place in the world.

Aston Business School has particular strengths in graduate employability and career progression, and is well known for the diversity of its student body and faculty.

There are approximately 7,622 business schools in the world, 766 in Europe and 102 in the UK.
