Dr Ed Turner

Head of Politics and International Relations

Ed is a senior lecturer in politics, with a particular interest in federalism, decentralisation and public policy.  He wrote his doctoral thesis about the impact of political parties on public policy at the sub-national level in Germany. Ed has a keen interest in all aspects of modern German politics. 
 
Ed is also an expert is housing policy and has been involved in three major reviews while serving on the LGA's Environment, Economy, Transport and Housing Board.
