Aston Welcome is your Aston University induction and enrolment programme.
Aston Welcome 2016 takes place from Saturday 17th - Sunday 25th September, and is open to all new students to help you settle into your new home. Aston Welcome combines a mixture of academic, practical and fun activities all designed to prepare you for your studies and help you settle in to Aston.
Before the full programme begins, we have International Welcome; this is a chance for new International and European Union students to settle into life in the UK, and on campus, before the main Aston Welcome programme. This takes place from Wednesday 14th September until Friday 16th September, 2016.
The timetable for Optional and Students' Union events is available to view on the myAston app, but if you don't have a smart phone, it will also be available in webview mode. Your mandatory timetable is available through MAP. If your timetable isn't displaying for you in the app you may need to request access here.
(Please note that this programme is subject to change and you are therefore advised to check the timetable regularly)
If you are staying on campus, it is important that you notify the accommodation office as soon as possible with your intended arrival date. Whilst they will endeavour to ensure you can move in, if you arrive before Saturday 10th September it may be that you need to secure alternative accommodation. Please contact them as soon as you know your flight details.
