CITISPYCE: FP7 European Research Project

Citispyce School of Languages and Social Sciences

CITISPYCE is a 3 year collaborative project, funded by the European Commission under the FP7 Research and Development programme for Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).

The project was launched in January 2013 and is set against the back drop of widening social inequalities and renewed concerns about the disproportionate impact of the global economic crisis on young people.

combating inequalities through innovative social practices of, and for, young people in cities across Europe.

The project is a collaborative venture coordinated by Aston University, UK and involving 12 other partners from 10 countries across the EU. These also include stakeholders from civil society, who are experienced in policy-making and delivery, as well as an interdisciplinary team of academic researchers from 7 leading universities.
