About the event:

As a result of ongoing debate in academic literature, it remains unclear how diversity should be managed in organisations.

The aim of this meeting is to bring together science and practice by reviewing what can be learnt from the diversity literature on how to manage diversity in organizations, and to discuss a range of issues.

Who should attend?   

Scholars, experts on diversity management, academics, PhD candidates – all with a specific interest/expertise in the area of diversity.

Academics are invited to submit papers on on the subject of diversity in organisations  - deadline is 31 March 2010.

Format

A small-scale workshop with approximately 25 oral presentations and discussion.  Exhibiting an additional amount of posters during the meeting will also be possible. Together, a maximum of 25 participants will be able to participate.

Publication of papers

The outcomes of the meeting will appear in the form of a position paper submitted to EJWOP. We hope that selected papers will be published in a special issue of an academic journal.
