I feel it is difficult to find another university that can offer the number of opportunities like this that Aston University can.

As I have a hearing loss I’ve always want to help other people like me. The great practical and interpersonal experience gained on this course coupled with the academia makes it a great course for someone like me who loves to do as many things as I can.

I attended an open day and it solidified the magic Aston factor for me. With everything being on one campus and the campus being in the centre of the city you have the best of both worlds and that only becomes clear when you get here and see it for yourself.

I will be spending my placement at Worcestershire Royal Hospital where I will be gaining experience working in clinic, applying the skills and knowledge I learnt at university and making a real difference to people with hearing problems.

My fondest memory at Aston University so far would be going on tour with the cricket club to Amsterdam. Being away with friends you met at university has a completely new atmosphere to going away at any other time and it’s a feeling you don’t forget.

I have already had the opportunity to recommend Aston University to students from my old school when I was able to attend a higher education fair as a representative and this is just one of the many opportunities Aston has presented me with.

My overall plan is to open my own private practice, but with the wide scope that Audiology gives me, I can see myself working in so many different areas and I will have to see where it can take me.
