I joined Aston Pharmacy School in August 2018, having spent the previous 22 years at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen during which time I contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy programmes (including Independent Pharmacist Prescribing).
On graduating from RGIT with a BSc in Pharmacy, I registered with the RPSGB in 1990 and began my career in community pharmacy. After a period in community pharmacy management, I joined RGU as a teacher practitioner with Lloydspharmacy and then became a Lecturer. In 2011, I was appointed as Senior Lecturer and held the position of RGU MPharm Course Leader until 2018. In addition to this, I have been a Local Pharmacy Postgraduate Tutor for NHS Education for Scotland, undertake regular locum work in community pharmacy and in 2012 joined the General Pharmaceutical Council Accreditation and Recognition Panel.
I contribute to teaching at undergraduate level in pharmacy practice in a broad range of areas and have had extensive experience at postgraduate level in development and delivery of Masters and Independent Pharmacist Prescribing programmes and research supervision.
