My role as e-learning co-ordinator for LHS is to serve as a conduit of information for the design and development of distance learning courses and materials. I can advise on the best use of technology and provide ad hoc training where necessary to enable teaching staff to make the best of your teaching expertise. My major roles include (but are not limited to) the following:


  • Production of Adobe Presenter presentations from correctly formatted Powerpoints and audio files
  • Produce MCQ (and other question type) tests on Blackboard from provided Word documents
  • Promote best practice in technology enhanced learning throughout the school
  • Assist in the development of distance learning courses from scratch
  • Providing general support in the use of Blackboard and its related technologies
  • Trouble-shoot technical problems and direct queries to the relevant persons as necessary
  • Contact point for allocation of PCs and staff (incl. postgraduates) IT queries
  • Contact point for printer queries
