What influenced you to come and study at Aston?
Aston University offers a rich and robust MA for the program I am currently studying, with staff members specialising in fields that I enjoy and which will be of great value in any career I choose in the future. The university is also close to my home which means I do not have to worry about travel and cost, allowing to focus entirely on my studies.

Tell us about your programme of study.  Modules, exams, workload, practical experience, study hours/timetable, lecturers, etc.
In my programme there is a lot of independent work, with seminars where the focus is on discussing the work and providing ideas. The degree consists of essays, presentations and a dissertation

What do you like about studying at Aston and living in Birmingham?
Aston has Friendly staff, a respected and well developed postgraduate programme, providing a variety of opportunities.

What I like about Birmingham is that there is always a lot to do and a lot to see. It is also a culturally rich and diverse city.

Aims for the future: what do you hope to do when you graduate and how do you think Aston might help you achieve them?

I wish to continue with study (for example – PHD) and work in a field where my education will be actively used.
I think Aston's good reputation and friendly staff provide an environment with many opportunities to enhance my skills and help me achieve my goals

What is the student mix on your programme like and what have you learned from them?

There is a rich diversity of students, more international students than UK students which is fantastic.
