Helen Griffiths 

Pro-Vice-Chancellor for International Relations and Professor in Biomedical Sciences

Professor Helen Griffiths became Pro-Vice-Chancellor International in April 2015. She is Chair of the Steering Committee for VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education in DaNang, Vietnam. Previously, she was Executive Dean of the School of Life & Health Sciences at Aston University. Her research interests span redox biochemistry, metabolism and inflammaging. She is Chair of the British Society for Research on Ageing and a Fellow of Royal Society of Biology.

Director, International Development

Wendy is responsible for providing a key lead for the University’s collaborations and partnerships. She works closely with the senior management team on the University's global engagement strategy and is a key member of the University’s International Strategy Committee, which ensures that the strategic direction includes international student experience at the heart of the University.

David provides a key lead on the University's international student recruitment and marketing strategy working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Relations and the senior management team and is a key member of the University’s International Strategy Committee. International Programmes Development Officer

Junying supports development of a portfolio of high quality taught programmes across the University delivered in collaboration with strategic international partners. She identifies, facilitates, coordinates and develops successful models for teaching partnerships at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education/continuing professional development levels including development of articulation agreements.

International Partnerships Development Officer

Jessica builds and maintains relationships between Aston and our International University Wide partners, working alongside coordinators in each of the schools of study. She is working closely with Research Support Officers to match global funding opportunities for staff and student development.

International Recruitment and Development Assistant

Hristina provides support for events, trips and visits and assists with the management of the University’s network of educational agents and representatives. She also works in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team to deliver content aimed for international recruitment, relations and partnership development.
