Aston University Summer Programme 2017

Aston Summer Programme: 3 - 21 July 2017

Aston University's Summer Programme gives students the opportunity to sample university life with courses taught by industry experts, whilst also living in and exploring the UK's second city. The Summer Programme is aimed at students aged 18 and over who either want to gain further understanding of their current studies or explore new study options.

Participants will be given the opportunity to specialise in their chosen subject area(s), take part in interactive workshops and field trips as part of their course.

Marketing is a management function, a managerial process and a business philosophy that places the customer at the core of the organisation. This course is designed to enable students to develop an appreciation of the role of marketing and the management of marketing functions in the modern organisation.

The course introduces students to how the European Union (EU) works, and how it impacts companies. The EU is faced by a number of challenges, including Brexit, the refugee crisis, rising populist nationalism in member states, and the challenges associated with the euro.

The module explores various aspects of the contemporary life in the UK and aims to improve students’ knowledge of English, in preparation for their academic IELTS tests.

Participants have the opportunity to take two courses:
  • Multilevel Regression Analysis (4 - 6 July)
  • Panel Data Models for Accounting and Finance (19 - 21 July)

Package details

Course packages include accommodation, conference dinner, lunch and refreshments for each study day and a weekly social event/visit to a local tourist attraction. These vary from course to course and exclude Advanced Research Methods. Please refer to individual course pages for more information.

Full payment is required by 5 May 2017.

Cancellation charge: 10% by 26 May 2017. No refunds are available after this date.
