A shared calendar allows you to set up a diary or schedule for your team, department or project.
You can grant access to the calendar to allow other people to edit it, or just view it through Outlook, Outlook Web Access.
You can also publish the calendar online via a private web address allowing you to share the calendar with anyone just by sending them the web address, or iCal URL.
