I feel that Aston has given me a good foundation which I will use to build on my experience in design. I can confidently apply my problem solving skills and tackle different challenges that arise in every day life.

I have many good memories of my time at Aston, I remeber when I took part in a photo-shoot for New Designers posters, where the theme was using our own products. This meant getting into a shower, using a cooker with pre-cooked eggs, heating up Heinz beans from food containers, drying wet dishes and of course, catching mosquitos with a blue light device. Great memories, I not only had a great experience at Aston but a lot of fun too. The most memorable parts of my time at Aston were: Working 12 hour days in the lab in the final days before the Aston Inspired Show – it was tough but I really enjoyed it!, Preparing for the New Designers exhibition in London,Filming an advert for a baby – nappies changing bag with the main actor being male and David Upton Lectures!!!

After graduating from Aston I was offered a role as a packaging Technician at Kraft foods soon to be renamed Mondelēz. My responsibilities include developing and implementing packaging solutions across Europe for a range of products, including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka, Lacta, Cote D’Or.
