I joined Aston University in 2001 having previously created and managed a range of new design courses at Luton University as a Principal Lecturer in 1993. Prior to that, I developed and lead the highly successful product design courses at Bournemouth University.
My design skills, technical knowledge and professional experience has been developed by working for a wide range of design lead organisations as well as design consultancies including freelance designing.

I teach on all levels of the Product Design Programmes with a focus on developing the skills students need to achieve effective practical design solutions to their project work.
My main area of interest is in Assistive Technologies.
I am currently supervising 1 PhD student.
