I am a Lecturer in Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Aston University (UK), which I joined in 2015. Previously, I received a BSc, MSc and PhD in Computer Science at Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, respectively in 2008, 2010 and 2013. From June 2013 to July 2015 I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Computer Science of the University of Birmingham (UK), as a member of the "Networked Systems and Data Science Lab”. From June to July 2015 I was a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Geography of the University College of London (UK).

I am a member of the Systems Analytics Research Institute and the Non-linearity and Complexity Research Group. My current research interests are in the areas of Structural Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Data and Network Science.
