Having received the PhD scholarship in Aston University, I started my PhD under Prof. Robert Berry’s supervision on the study of performance of event processing systems from 2009, after I completed my MSc in Artificial Intelligence in University of Southampton. I completed my B.Eng degree in Control and Automation in Beijing Jiaotong University, where the Department of Control and Automation is specialized in signals and control in railway traffic.
Before I decided to move to UK to pursue further education, I worked in Frauscher Sensor Tech. (Beijing) Co Ltd as a technical support engineer for 10 months and later in Beijing Bei Xin Yuan Automation Tech. Co Ltd as a technical support engineer assisting sales team for 6 months.
I’m a lab demonstrator in the following modules:
Chunhui Li, Robert Berry. CEPBen: A Benchmark for Complex Event Processing Systems. In the Fifth TPC Technology Conference on Performance Evaluation & Benchmarking (TPCTC2013), collocated with VLDB13, August 2013 (to appear).
