From the world’s longest laser, to the world’s first robotic automated micro drill for surgery, research in the School of Engineering & Applied Science continues to push in new directions to benefit society through the activities of our research groups.
A PhD programme lasts three years full-time, and you will normally need at least an upper second class Honours Degree, or equivalent from an overseas institution, to join us. Minimum English requirements also apply.
