Dash is an experimental physicist interested in understanding and developing light-encoded quantum information technologies. His background includes design and implementation of entangled photon-pair sources, and he specializes in linear and nonlinear interactions involving light in optical fibres. His focus at Aston is creating tuneable SNAP microresonator fibre devices towards on-demand photon storage and emission.
