Instructions for Authors

Paper Format

Please prepare your manuscripts in accordance to the IEEE guidelines:
http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
From the table provided on the IEEE webpage, please select the A4 template (column 1, row 3).
In the draft manuscript submission phase, the symposium will ONLY accept papers in either MS Word or PDF formats.
Camera ready manuscripts may also be prepared in LaTeX.

Please make sure that your manuscript does not exceed 8 pages (including references).  


Paper Submission

We invite all prospective authors to submit their manuscripts via the TASE13 portal, hosted on Easychair. Please follow the following link to create an author account:

Symposium Proceedings

The publication of TASE 13 proceedings is endorsed by The IEEE Computer Society.
One paperback proceedings volume is included in the registration fee and will be received upon arrival. Extra proceedings volumes may be purchased here (£70 each).


Instructions for Presentations

Each regular speaker is allocated a 25 min timeslot, including Q&A, to present his/her work. Please consult the Programme page to find your specific presentation timeslot. Conference Aston will provide presenters with a computer (Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007, Acrobat Reader) and a video projector. VGA cables are also available in case presenters wish to use their own laptops.
