Interests:

My research interests are in the areas of E-Assessment, Terminology, Knowledge Representation and Natural Language Processing, in particular providing helpful assessment feedback to learners and using technology to enhance student learning experiences.I am the lead investigator of the eCAF (Electronic Coursework Assessment and Feedback) project which aims to deliver web-based support for tutors to give helpful, personalised and consistent formative and summative coursework feedback to students in a timely manner.
