All Aston students have the opportunity to be involved in the peer mentoring scheme.Students can select preferences such as age range, degree programme or county to engage in a one to one mentoring relationship with a student from another year. Mature students have access to an online module which is used to communicate important events, relevant document such as the mature student handbook as well as an anonymous discussion board to enable student to student discussion.
The Mature Students Aston society, is run by mature students for mature students, and provides a forum for students from across disciplines to get together and offer social, study and support activities for each other. The Society is co-ordinated by a Student Committee, and all mature students are welcome to join. Throughout the year, the MSA usually organise a variety of exciting (on and off campus) events and activities to enhance your time at the university, these may also include activities for families to get involved in.
