Your enrolment at Aston is not affected by the problems with Student Maintenance Loans or Tuition Fee Loans. New and returning students should still enrol.
If you haven't received your Student Maintenance Loan you can apply for a short-term interest free loan to help you with your immediate living costs such as food or travel. Loans can be awarded up to £250 for single students and up to £500 for students with dependants.

Even if your application for a tuition fee loan has not yet been processed and it is not clear whether or not you will receive a tuition fee loan, you should still complete the enrolment or re-enrolment process.
We will issue tuition fee invoices in the third week of term, and payment will be due on or before 31st October 2011. If by then you haven't received confirmation of your Tuition Fee Loan, contact The Hub. If you can show us evidence (eg: a confirmation letter) that you have submitted an application for a Tuition Fee Loan, we can arrange for the payment due date to be extended, otherwise you will be personally liable for the payment of the tuition fees.
