Accessibility guide

CAMPUS

This Guide aims to provide general advice on the location of services and facilities and the easiest way to access these. Any staff, students or visitors who need specific route-planning and/or advice should contact the Enabling Team:

All the teaching and a range of recreational facilities are on one site at Aston Triangle in the city centre of Birmingham along with residential accommodation (which is managed and owned by UNITE).

The site is flat and fairly self-contained with a dentist; a shop selling stationery, sandwiches, cards and gifts, a bank and cash point machines, a hairdresser, a copy shop for photocopying and printing and a range of places to eat and drink.

There is a Tesco Express, Rymans Stationary, Wok & Go  and a Costa Coffee on Aston Street and the city centre is a short distance away and easy to access from campus.

Although we have tried to make the University as accessible as possible the Main Building does not have electronic door opening along the corridors which may make the building difficult to navigate for some users without assistance.

We aim to provide accurate information about campus accessibility. However we are always making improvements and development to our campus. This information is accurate as of February 2017.

Please contact the Estates team for any additional information regarding campus accessibility.
