Schedule for the day

Important

During 2015, there are extensive building works planned around Birmingham City Centre, which will be taking place during graduation. This includes the redevelopment of Paradise Circus which will result in road closures and diversions across the city. This will impact your journey time, both when arriving at campus, as well as when travelling to and from your graduation ceremony, so please plan ahead and allow extra time. You can find out more information and the most up to date closures at www.paradisebirmingham.co.uk

MONDAY 20TH - FRIDAY 24TH JULY 2015

To ensure that you are able to make the most of your graduation day, we recommend that you follow our suggested schedule. Remember don't be late! You won't be able to graduate if you arrive late to the Town Hall.

Studios will close briefly at 9.30am for those students attending the 11.00am ceremony.

9.15am onwards
9.30am latest

Please be aware that there are major road works taking place in Birmingham City Centre during Graduation week which could result in severe traffic delays. We are therefore recommending that graduands and their families travel to the Town Hall as early as possible to avoid being late for the ceremony. We also suggest that, where possible, graduands walk (approx. 15mins walk) to the Town Hall rather than use the coaches to reduce the risk of any delays. Please note that we cannot delay the start of the ceremony so please allow plenty of time to travel to the Town Hall.
