Mentoring 1

Recruitment for the Mentoring in Schools Scheme 2015/16 opens soon!

Aston University's Mentoring programme seeks to raise local secondary school students' attainment and awareness of higher education. Aston undergraduates mentor local students on a one-to-one or small group basis in an effort to increase learner confidence and motivation, raise aspirations, and improve attainment and study skills.

This is a perfect opportunity to improve your employability prospects, work with and inspire local young people, and earn money whilst you study!

To apply to be a mentor you must attend one of the compulsory information sessions that will be running after the Easter holidays:

  • Wednesday 29th April, 1-2pm, MB550
  • Thursday 30th April, 1-2pm, MB550
  • Wednesday 6th May, 1-2pm, MB550
