Tap water is available, on request, in all of the retail catering outlets on campus.

Catering at Aston recently went out to tender for the fruit and vegetable category. A significant part of the criteria for us was to work with a local supplier, who also sourced their produce locally! and had connections with the surrounding community so we could start to develop our menu’s to refect the area’s fine availability of artisan cuisine.

We are delighted to annouce that we have taken on a new partnership with Worcestershire produce because as we do, they also feel passionately in sourcing local produce and supporting the local community. They don’t supply mass produced foods imported from all over the world just because it is cheaper; they only supply handpicked produce that has been nutured by local farmers and delivered fresh from the fields. Not only do they supply fruit and vegetables but they also work with local suppliers who produce foods such as cheeses, including Hereford Hop and Whit’ton Oak, and chutneys and jams.
