Support for users

Careers and Placements are delighted to give you access to Aston Futures, our new and improved jobs, placements,events and appointments system.

Access Aston Futures by clicking on the Aston Futures logo wherever you see it appear throughout the Careers site.  You will log-on to the system using your Aston username and password.  We encourage you to explore the system to familiarise yourself with its features and functionality and tailor your profile to view and receive information appropriate to your needs, whatever stage you are at. 
Our self help user guides to the right, will help you make the most of using Aston Futures and personalising your experience.
AF user guides
The new site has a number of benefits for you:
  • Exclusive to Aston students and graduates (you are eligible to use the service up to 3 years following graduation.)
  • All in one place, access to jobs, events and appointments
  • Employers advertise 12 month placements, summer internships and graduate positions directly onto Aston Futures
  • Book appointments online with Careers and Placement Staff
  • Events, view our calendar of Careers Fairs, employer events and skills workshops with online booking
  • Advanced search features, search for employers by industry sector and/or location and save your job lists with the bespoke job search tool
  • Set up job alerts to receive email updates when new jobs that match your criteria are added to Aston Futures
  • Search expired jobs, handy if you are invited to an interview and need to refer back to the job description

If you have any queries about Aston Futures or need some support with using the site please come and see us in the Careers Centre (1st floor, south wing) we’re open Monday – Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
