Combined Honours Society (CHS)

The Combined Honours Society is a student-run society that brings all our  students together.  

The society organises many great (and often free!) events throughout the year, and also gives you the chance to have your say on Combined Honours at Aston.

As a member of the society you'll also have the chance to become an Executive Committee Member, which is great for your CV!

Events

The society runs many social events throughout the year. Recent events have included:
  • halloween and Christmas parties
  • trips to Alton Towers
  • bowling
  • trips to Star City (laser quest, cinema etc)
  • film fests (Cinema)
  • history bus tours of Birmingham
  • visits to Cadbury World
  • charity events  
  • black tie dinners and award ceremonies 
  • BBQs

How to join

To join go to the 1st floor of the Guild (the Students Activities Office) or MB563 (your common room). It is only £5 to join and not only will you be invited for all the events throughout the year, you will also be entitled to go on many free events too. You can also join at the Fresher’s Fair which is held every year on the last day of Welcome (Freshers') Week every year.
