Technology Supported Learning

CLIPP supports and encourages staff in making teaching decisions regarding technology-enhanced learning, as part of an informed approach towards curriculum design. For further details, see the design principles included in the Programme Approval guidelines

CLIPP convenes the Learning Technologies Management Group (LTMG) made up of representatives from all Schools, the Student Union and learning support areas across the University. For more information on the work of this group contact either Dr Sarah Hayes (Chair) or Dominic Stone (Secretary)

Part of the work of LTMG is to develop the draft Distance Learning Strategy which is the result of engaged university-wide consultation during 2014.

Change Agents Network

A network of staff and students working in partnership to support curriculum enhancement and innovation, CLIPP has recently employed final year undergraduate students to:

  • Teach staff, in partnership with us, about what engages students online, as part of the PG Dip module: Embedding Technology into Campus based and Distance Learning Programmes, in July 2015 
  • To write policy in partnership with us to engage students as stakeholders in the process of curriculum design 

Scaling up online learning

Identifying the barriers to universities in expanding their online course offering, and finding solutions to reduce them
